Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Romance Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are challenging you to:

Wanda has created an art journal spread in a Dylusions Journal.  She used Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Collage Paper TypesetLayer FramesPaper DollClippings stickers; and Quote Flair. Tim Holtz/Stamper’s Anonymous  Stencil Deco Leaf (regular and mini); Crochet Trims stamp set; Wildflowers stamp set.  Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress PaintsDistress InkDistress Embossing GlazeTranslucent Texture PasteDistress Watercolor Pencils, and Distress Collage Medium.  Tim Holtz/Simon Says Stamp Abandoned Fabric Bundle

Andrea created a page in her Dylusions Small Creative Journal using some of her favorite Tim Holtz stamp sets (Sideshow, Halftone and Rings, and Media Marks 2) for the patterns and collage pieces.

Anna-Karin made an art journal page to celebrate the green shades of spring. The page was done in the Dylusions Square Ledger Journal and the stencil used for the background is Tim Holtz new Labels stencil. The view master reel was die cut with Tim’s Vault Picture Show.

Barbara created a page using lots of Idea-ology elements: Word Plaques Large, Backdrops Volume 5, Palette Ephemera Pack. She added the typewriter stamp that is part of the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Curiosity Shop set. She chose two Distress Crayons to color the Paper Doll: Shabby Shutters and Carckling Campfire.

Cheiron created a page for her mini journal using a background of Distress Watercolor Pencil shavings from her palette. Then she did some stamping with Distress Archival Inks and the Mini Media Marks stamps, some pencil lines and some dots with a white Posca pen. She added a Mini Paper Doll, a stamp from the new Postmarked Sticker Book and a Smalll Talk sticker to finish her page.

Kath created a page in her Dylusions Small Creative Journal using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Abstract Florals and Curiosity Shop, Mini Layering Stencils from Set 59, the Simon Says Abstract Florals dies and Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Archives Collage Paper from the new 2024 collection.

Macarena matched a perfect couple by stamping Tim Holtz The Inspector and Elizabeth Craft Designs Travel From The Past faces. She heat embossed them with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder Fine Detail. For the background she added plaid pattern from Tim Holtz Mr. Rabbit and huge digits from Paint By Number set.

Maura created an art journal spread about her son and grandpup on an adventure. She used Paper Artsy Tracy Scott stamps to add marks, the Simon Says Stamp Crackle Background for interest, and one of her favorite color inks – Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Citrine ink.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Spray Set Of 12 Ranger on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Lovebirds Thinlits Dies and  Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Curiosity.

Zoey used Distress Mica Stain to add color to her backgroud. She also used Distress Snowfall Texture through the Crossed layering stencilIdeaology embellishment were just perfect to decorate this spread!

Wanda has created a 50th wedding anniversary card using the Tim Holtz/Sizzix 3d embossing folder Elegant; Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Die Sets BoutiqueWorld Travel, and Matchbox; Distress Mica Sprays and Inks; Distress Watercolor Paper; Simon Says Stamp Luxe Glitter Classic Cardstock Gold; and This Calls For Confetti Glazed Cherry Sequin Confetti

Andrea made a tag using Tim Holtz’s Backdrops, Vol. 4 paper and AALL & Create’s Heartnook die set. She also added some texture with Tim Holtz’s Floral Linen Tape.

Anna-Karin made a card with faceted hearts. The hearts were die cut with Tim Holtz Vault Rosettes set, from paper colored with Paper Artsy Infusions Colored Stains. The background was dry embossed in Simon Says Stamp Spun Glass embossing folder.

Barbara created a rainbow tag using the Tim Holtz Arch Brush stencil in the background along with Ranger Distress Ink Pads, Texture Paste Transulcent and Distress Rock Candy Crystal Clear Glitter. In the center the couple with the heart balloon is cut with the Sizzix The Park Thinlits Dies and the sentiment is from Stampers Anonymous from the Love Notes set.

Cheiron created an anniversary card using the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Abstract Florals stamps and embossed them with Ranger Gold Embossing powder. She cut them out with the Simon Says Stamp coordinating wafer dies. She added them to a background panel cut with the Detail Mandala Plate and added a splatter of Gilded Foundry Wax.

Emma felt the love in the air with this challenge theme and she created a mini Etcetera Tag. She used Sizzix dies from Tim Holtz including the Vault Funky Floral Wreath to frame a Tim Holtz idea-ology Photomatic image and the alphabet from the World Travel die set to make up the letters, LOVE before adding a Vintage Clip altered with Foundry Waxes, to complete the piece.

Kath made a trio of “love themed” cards using Tim Holtz/Sizzix True Love Colorize Thinlits, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Layering Stencil Set 59, Forgotten Garden and Love Notes, Simon Says Stamp Forgotten Garden and Love Shadow dies.

Macarena made a Love U tag using two 3D hearts from Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Rosettes dies and Framed Tags die for the base. She added a bunch of dots left from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Layered Dots die.

Maura created an interactive envelope card, using Graphic 45’s Mon Amour papers, Tim Holtz’s Abstract Florals stamps, and Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Mocha and Cheeky inks.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Roseland 8×8 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Curiosity.
